Pacific have developed a stylish lightweight multi-size helmet
which complies with the new NZS8600 Standard, and to which accessories
including face shields (for chainsawing), helmet lights and ear
protection can be added or worn. Pacific QUADSAFE is designed for
off-road use by ATV users at low speeds (generally under 30kph).
Although a helmet will not guarantee safety from head injury in
all cases, injury may be reduced through the appropriate use of
ATV’s and wearing a helmet in many cases. As head injuries
may occur in any setting where an ATV is in use the helmet should
be worn (fitted correctly and chinstrap fastened) as all times when
riding ATV’s.
The PACIFIC QUADSAFE is a lightweight multi-size helmet (ratchet
size adjuster), so that almost every user on the farm can share
the same helmet and adjust the size quickly to suit. Because the
helmet will invariably stay on the bike day and night, the helmet
is designed to resist UV radiation, but 5 year replacement is considered
prudent.
